It also displays the equipment of the right cyclist, the Road Traffic Code and at the end of Part I, an interactive discussion is being promoted. Students are divided into two groups and each of them undertakes to cite the advantages or disadvantages of alternative bicycle transportation, substantiating their views with arguments.
- Practical part, of 120 minutes duration, which includes bicycle rides starting from the Municipal Sports Center and with direction the cycle path on Ant. Tritsi. During the cycling trail in Ant. Tritsi, the bicycle is properly and safely used for the transportation of students through experiential education.
The specific program concerns the training of a school department with a maximum of 25 students. The second part of the program is a theoretical part where students with experiential activities become familiar with parts of the bike, its usefulness and its safe maintenance.
Finally, the practical part of the module includes exercises of students’ skills with the use of a bicycle, their correct and safe transportation under city conditions and the adoption of proper road behavior.
